General Description:
The Provider Relations Administrator plays a critical role in supporting Provide A Ride’s network of subcontracted transportation providers. This position serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external providers, ensuring that communications, compliance, and operational processes run smoothly. The Provider Relations Administrator helps foster positive, productive relationships with transportation providers, enabling the delivery of safe, reliable, and high-quality service to the communities we serve.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and initiate initial credentialing and compliance follow-up with transportation providers, escalating unresolved issues to the Provider Relations Manager as needed.
  • Review and process transportation provider applications for prospective network leads.
  • Notify applicants who do not meet network requirements in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain and regularly update the prospective lead tracking spreadsheet to ensure accurate records.
  • Respond to and assist providers with questions and concerns related to billing, credentialing, compliance, operational processes, and system usage.
  • Identify opportunities to educate providers on Provide A Ride’s policies, processes, and technology platforms to improve network performance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve provider-related issues, questions, and service requests.
  • Verify provider adherence to established billing, dispatch, scheduling, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Provide refresher training or updates when policies, procedures, or systems are modified.
  • Distribute transportation provider invoices and KPI report cards in accordance with published schedules.
  • Conduct monthly exclusion checks on provider driver and owner lists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Enter and maintain accurate provider profiles in internal management software systems.
  • Support vehicle inspections and provider audits to confirm compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals of the Provider Relations department.

Education and Experience:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of related experience in transportation, healthcare operations, provider/vendor management, or a related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Skills:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of transportation logistics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability for work product.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, type, and communicate in person and by phone. The employee may occasionally stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and twist the neck. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move approximately 10 to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
