Provide A Ride is seeking a full-time 3rd shift Pre-Trip Automotive Porter. 

Hours: 9 PM - 6 AM Sunday - Thursday


GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Maintain cleanliness of company fleet vehicles.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interior:
  • Thoroughly check oil, fluids, tire pressure, lights, and transport vehicles to and from different locations.
  • Use cleaning supplies and equipment, i.e. brushes, scrapers, vacuums, cleaning solutions, etc.
  • Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove following all product manufacturer's directions and recommendations.
  • Vacuum interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
  • Clean upholstery, rugs and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.

 
 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:    ​​​​Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. 

• Education and/or Experience:  High School Diploma or GED; six months to one-year related experience is preferred.

           Skills:

• Certifications – Ability to maintain a valid and clean State of Ohio driver’s license
• Mathematical - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers.
• Language - Ability to read work-related documents and write trip information.  Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers, co-workers, and the general public.  Ability to communicate in an understandable and professional manner.
• Reasoning - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Equipment - Ability to use a calculator.
• Other Skills - Ability to operate at the pace of the business in order to meet deadlines. Ability to plan and prioritize.
