We are seeking a dependable and experienced Fleet Automotive Technician to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a diverse fleet of company vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Schedule:

 Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm (every other Saturday)

  Sunday – Thursday 8:00 pm to 5:00am


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance services on fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and drivetrain systems
  • Conduct inspections in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Utilize diagnostic software, scan tools, and service equipment to identify issues accurately
  • Complete work orders and maintenance documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of automotive or fleet maintenance experience
  • Valid Ohio Driver's license required
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer proficiency for maintenance reporting systems
  • Basic set of automotive tools required.

Preferred Experience

  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Fleet maintenance and repair
  • Gas engine diagnostics and repair
  • Electrical system troubleshooting
  • Preventive maintenance programs

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk, hear, or smell.
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
