About Us
Provide A Ride is a hybrid Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) broker, combining a trusted provider network with our own fleet to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation. This Dover, DE position is contingent upon Provide A Ride being awarded the current state NEMT contract.
Your Role
The Program Director will oversee all aspects of the Delaware NEMT program, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective transportation services for eligible members. This role will lead operational teams, manage provider relationships, maintain strict contract compliance, and serve as the primary point of contact for state and client partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing local operations team.
- Serve as the primary liaison with state agencies, Managed Care Organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with all contractual requirements, state regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed.
- Manage program budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Oversee provider network performance and member service quality.
- Address and resolve service issues promptly, ensuring a positive member experience.
- Maintain readiness for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Represent Provide A Ride at stakeholder meetings, public forums, and industry events.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in transportation, healthcare, or contract management.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar contracts.
- Strong understanding of NEMT operations, compliance, and performance management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to travel within Delaware and to Provide A Ride’s corporate offices as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with state Medicaid agencies or Managed Care Organizations.
- Background in both brokerage and fleet-based service delivery.
- Proficiency in contract administration and budget oversight.
- Knowledge of transportation safety standards and quality assurance practices.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 - $116,000; based on experience
