Job Summary
Provide support and resolution to system users; with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, voice, printers, -via phone, e-mail, on-site. Also, assist in support of business applications for the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, e-mail, on-site.
- Diagnose, research and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Effectively advise and assist customers on appropriate action.
- Maintain the highest possible level of customer service.
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365.
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support of workstation computers, network printers.
- Deploys new hardware and software.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to multitask several support requests at a time.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical computer-related problems.
- Knowledge in desktop operating systems, various software and basic hardware.
- Knowledge in the basic principles of networking.
- Knowledge in Writing and modifies various reports using Microsoft Access, SQL and Crystal Reports.
- A team player and customer service oriented.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years’ experience in IT
- Knowledge of Windows and Android/iOS Platforms
- Knowledge of standard networking concepts (TCP/IP, Windows Networking, VPN)
- Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software
- Knowledge of computer and network, applications, procedures, and techniques.
- Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems
- A demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time
