Job Summary

Provide support and resolution to system users; with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, voice, printers, -via phone, e-mail, on-site. Also, assist in support of business applications for the organization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, e-mail, on-site.
  2. Diagnose, research and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  3. Effectively advise and assist customers on appropriate action.
  4. Maintain the highest possible level of customer service.
  5. Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365.
  6. Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support of workstation computers, network printers.
  7. Deploys new hardware and software.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to employees of the organization
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to multitask several support requests at a time.
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical computer-related problems.
  • Knowledge in desktop operating systems, various software and basic hardware.
  • Knowledge in the basic principles of networking.
  • Knowledge in Writing and modifies various reports using Microsoft Access, SQL and Crystal Reports.
  • A team player and customer service oriented.

 

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years’ experience in IT
  • Knowledge of Windows and Android/iOS Platforms
  • Knowledge of standard networking concepts (TCP/IP, Windows Networking, VPN)
  • Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software
  • Knowledge of computer and network, applications, procedures, and techniques.
  • Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time
