Description
Provide A Ride is immediately seeking a part-time Janitor.

Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Maintain cleanliness of company facility.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·        Remove waste and empty trash
·        Mop floors
·        Vacuum offices and common areas
·        Clean bathrooms:  toilets, sinks, mirrors and mop floors
·        Replenish restrooms with toilet tissue and paper hand towels in stock in bathrooms
·        Replenish break rooms with hand towels and cleaning supplies under sinks
·        Clean interior glass
·        Clean table in conference room and tables in training room
·        Dust partitions, cabinets and vents
·        Clean and maintain public areas in a building
·        Keep entryways and hallways free of dirt and debris
·        Maintain daily cleaning chart indicating each area was inspected and cleaned
·        Promptly clean up floor spills or wet spots created by inclement weather
·        Remove snow and salt around main entrances, walkways, in between vehicles and parking lot
·        Regular attendance
·        Perform other duties as assigned
  
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; six months to one-year related experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
 
Skills:
 •      Equipment - Ability to use safely use cleaning equipment using the directions/instructions.
  • Operate chemical dispensing units
  • Properly measure chemicals that are not provided in dispenser form
  • Understand how to read MSDS sheets
  • Properly label chemicals
  • Wear proper PPE when working with chemicals
•     Mathematical - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole
 
•     Language – Ability to read work-related documents.  Ability to effectively respond to questions
          from managers and co-workers.  Ability to communicate in an understandable and professional
          manner.
 
•     Reasoning – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with situations where only limited
           standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral
           form.
 
•     Other skills – Ability to operate at the pace of the business in order to meet deadlines.  Ability
           to plan and prioritize.
